Delimitación de la ronda hídrica y zonificación del riesgo del Río Bogotá en el municipio de Villapinzón

Abstract

Floods are events that are generated naturally, by the growing of water or human intervention, provoking overflow over the affected area. If this event happens in a zone with human settlements, it may have a risk of affect the population near exposed and provoke an emergency. Depending of the conditions of the human settlements, the risk of flooding may be high or low according to the exposition or the vulnerability. Which it’s evaluated the economic, social and environmental damages in the affected zone.

Therefore, this project seeks to establish criteria to delimit the water round of the upper basin of the Bogotá River, in the municipality of Villapinzón, thus determining the risk that this represents a flood event, for which a modeling will be carried out. , establishing different periods of return over a study section, analyzing the flood areas formed, determining a criterion for an adequate delimitation of the round area, in order to serve as an applicable tool in territory planning plans focused on Flood management.
