Resumen
The dictionary is a resource that for centuries has been implemented as a repository for the languages of occidental western culture ’. It is undeniable that it has great potential as a pedagogical resource if it is implemented under strategies aimed at teaching and learning a language, not only for the mechanical exercise of memory, but for the reflection and appropriation of the culture of a particular community, Because language turns out to be a mirror that reflects one or more ways of conceiving the world, this project proposes the dictionary, precisely, as a product that can be strategically implemented in the Muisca indigenous community, for the reconstruction of a dead language: the Muysc Cubum, typical of its culture. To do this, this research proposal was developed based on two main processes: the proposal of a descriptive-comparative analysis matrix, to structurally and graphically analyze the mu Muisca-Spanish Dictionary ’- a digital product of anthropological research; and the dictionary redesign approach based on the results of the analysis. To deal with the descriptive-comparative analysis, three digital dictionaries were selected, which, although not directly related to the Muisca language, contain similar characteristics in terms of characterization of the communities to which they are addressed, and to the pedagogical and reconstructive nature of the dictionary itself. The purpose of this proposal to strengthen the education processes of the Cabildo Cabildo Muisca de Suba, results in not only the redesign of an interface, rather, it accounts for the role of graphic design and visual communication as transformative disciplines that contribute to social, cultural and identity construction. In this sense, it emerges as a product: a new interface, with a physical version of the dictionary accompanied by other playful printed elements that aim to strengthen the meaning of this pedagogical resource, without separating the ancestral practices typical of this indigenous community.
