The objective of this research was to relate the work environment and the perception of family functioning of the teachers of a private school in Bogotá. For this purpose, the ECO and APGAR Family questionnaires were applied, which were answered by 29 teachers, 96.7% of the total N of the population, a significant sample size with a confidence level of 97%. The research was built from the quantitative approach with a descriptive-correlational scope. Taking into account that all members of the population had the same possibility of participating and belonging to the significant group, probability sampling was used, using the SPSS program. The Chi-square goodness-of-fit statistical test was applied, since it allows to identify the normality of distribution of the sample variables. Subsequently, a cross-table analysis was performed between the sociodemographic characteristics and the five dimensions of the ECO. As main results, it was found that the distribution of the sample in the family functioning variable did not fit the normal distribution, so it was not possible to correlate this variable with the organizational climate and the sociodemographic characteristics. However, cross tables were made between the sociodemographic variables and the dimensions of the ECO.
