Abstract

The teaching of literature is today a challenge for those of us who have taken on the task of education. A challenge that must be placed in a historical and cultural context where we see the emergence of discourses on literary and didactic fields that are characterized by their variety and ambivalence, and that are a reflection of the explosion of the closed and centralized truths that Modernity granted to the different sciences and disciplines. The history of humanity has always had nuances, determined to a great extent by the point of view of those who have been in charge of writing it. Literature is not exempt from this, because sometimes the artist, engaged in reflecting realities, turns to the history that originates that reality as a thematic basis.
