Introduction: The particular care optics depend exclusively on sales to external patients, the most importance of a company that provides a highly competitive service, to know the needs of the target population, as well as characterizing the population, for this reason this management study is carried out with a mixed approach (qualitative and quantitative). Objective: The purpose of this study is to analyze the demand for optometry products and services in visual innovative optics, Bucaramanga in the second half of 2019. Methodological design: The research has a non-experimental design, since it aims to analyze existing situations; the research dates from a characterization of the clients and the demand for products and services, without altering any situation, only by collecting the relevant quantitative and qualitative data through interviews previously designed for the 54 study participants. On the other hand, information was obtained from bibliographical sources that allowed to expand the phenomenon studied and to provide information and statistics that complemented the data obtained. Conclusions: It was found that in the age range the highest concentration is given in the ages of 29 to 59 years with 43% followed by between 18 to 28 with 37%, finally the age ranges that less visit optics are adults over 60 years old with 12.9%, followed by infants between 6 and 11 years old with 5.5% and finally young between 12 and 17 years old with 1,8% of the total, while 55.5% of women and 44.4% of men predominate. It was found that 77.7% t are employed, 5.5% are self-employed entrepreneurs, 9.2 per cent are students and 7.4 per cent are unemployed. It was determined that most of the patients are located geographically in the Álvarez Bucaramanga neighborhood and in neighborhoods close to the optics, 63% of the interviewees demand or prefer eye glasses, 15% sunglasses and 22.2% contact lenses.
