Construcción de la resiliencia a partir de las redes de apoyo en 3 adultos sobrevivientes al cáncer

Abstract

The present research aims to understand the construction of resilience from the support networks of 3 adult cancer survivors. This study is designed from the qualitative method, framed from the paradigm of complexity, carried out and applied from the structured interview and the life story. In this way, generating the consolidation of 3 patients who overcame cancer around their meanings of the categories of cancer, resilience and the support network that accompanies them throughout their rehabilitation process. The conclusions recognize the importance of the social network as part of recovery, emphasizing the importance of care by oncology institutions, highlighting the importance of signifying and resignifying the quality of life before, during and after recovery taking into account particular care and the continuation of harmful but satisfying practices. Likewise, the generation of resilience as a process of adaptation and survival as a pre-built and strengthened skill during their improvement as an example of life for their family. Finally, it is understood that the meaning of cancer becomes an aspect of high impact and transformation in the daily life of the patient and of his social circle, but that allows understanding a different version of the image and self-love.
