Resumen
Creativity is perhaps one of the most important qualities of the human being. Creativity is the ability of the human being to analyze, value and create something from other ideas, to solve problems in an original way, allowing the development of imagination, insight, sensitivity, openness to modify and rearrange your own thinking. This is necessary not only at school, but in all activities that people do; school should then be the means for children to develop their creativity. Therefore, the present investigation is a qualitative study of the "action-research" type, which seeks to analyze the incidence of lyrics in the development of creativity in second grade students at the Calasanz Cúcuta School. In order to carry out this analysis, an initial diagnosis was made to the students, where the initial level of creativity was identified, then strategies and playful-educational-pedagogical strategies were designed and applied on the lyrical sub-genres determined for the second grade, riddles, strings and tongue twister-; finally, children's creativity was evaluated by means of the adaptation of the Test designed by Torrance (1969) “Test of creative thinking of Torrance” (TTCT). During the elaboration of this investigative process, it can be concluded that creativity is important in the formative development of the child and occurs thanks to the appropriate use of the lyrics used at the level.
