Resumen
This research work, aims to make a general description of how the understanding of the conceptions about autonomous learning, built by nursing students in two institutions of higher education, is realized. Being of great relevance the study about this thematic, by the constant changes in the process of teaching-learning taken in the university, creating consequences in how the subjects accept and put into practice these changes, in similar contexts. It is also important to make a representation of the institutions of higher education, since they create and provide students with different scenarios or tools that allow the development and use of autonomous learning. Taking into account the above, we will have knowledge of the verbal and practical constructions about autonomous learning of nursing students.
