Resumen
This research deal with the understanding of the policies, scope and tensions in the process of institutional evaluation of Barranquilla’s public schools, generating from the exercise the construction of an educational policy agenda, facing to strengthening and resignifying school management, as a reference key, in the educational quality processes.
Methodologically, the doctoral thesis was oriented in the Action Research. Therefore, it was necessary to start a process of problematization with Barranquilla’s educational communities, focusing the field work with the educational actors; This made it possible, based on their voices and the emergence of new conceptualizations, to fulfill the proposed to general objective that was propuse to understand the meanings and emphasis that institutional evaluation for Barranquilla’s educational communities, in the framework of school management that allows provide feedback to local and national public policies.
With this objective and developments, it worked to answer the guiding question that seeks to configure an educational policy agenda for the Institutional Evaluation in Barranquilla’s public schools.
