Resumen
This research analyzes the levels of reading interpretation of iconic narrative texts, such as infographics, print advertising and the story, from the syntactic, semantic and pragmatic, third grade students of the school Primero de Mayo (seat F), attached to the Technical Educational Institution John F. Kennedy, in the city of Barrancabermeja, from that analysis is designed primer "A trip to the interior of Barrancabermeja", which serves teachers as a methodological strategy for teachers as a methodological strategy for the study of the interior of Barrancabermeja. Kennedy, in the city of Barrancabermeja. Based on this analysis, the booklet "A trip to the interior of Barrancabermeja" is designed to serve teachers as a methodological strategy to advance in the learning that leads to qualify the interpretation and reading comprehension at the levels of literal, inferential and critical analysis, in each of the components mentioned above.
The research approach is qualitative with a case study design, since it takes a specific population with a particular problem, regarding the development of reading competence, identified in a general way in the school context and diagnosed in a particular way in a specific group in the research process, From which and attending to that particular need, a booklet is designed enhancing the socio-cultural context itself, with significant iconic texts of the history of the municipality where the children develop, from their own reality and their difficulties, to promote the apprehension of specific learning.
