dc.description.abstractConsidering the need and the positive impact generated by documenting and implementing a selection and retention process, it was decided to carry out the present work with the aim of the company addressing its knowledge in human resources and thus improve the administrative direction of this, the quality of service, increase employee productivity and satisfy both internal and external customers.      The present work of internship begins with the initial diagnosis of the conditions of the Cobasec company, relating the failures or successes that the Cobasec company generates or not in its selection and retention process, which implies addressing the information and procedures proposed by the companies. theories that are presented, in order to try to meet their needs. The structure of the internship is: justification of the subject, description of the company, diagnosis of the company, approach of the problem, reference framework, methodology, administration and results of the internship; conclusions and suggestions.
