Resumen
The present investigation intends to identify the structural or conjunctural determinant variables that have had the greatest incidence in the decision to export products from the agroindustrial sector in Colombia to deduce why in recent years the country has gone from being an important participant in the production and export of goods of the agroindustrial sector to be in a position of lag compared to the other countries of the region in the same sector. This will be done through the correlation coefficient that will show which variables have been decisive at the moment of exporting in the period between 1996 and 2013, since these are the years that present complete information. Subsequently, a detailed analysis of the variables will be done in order to identify which determinants are the ones that have the greatest incidence on the volume of exports. This study demonstrates the importance of the Agricultural Development Titles (ADT) that have served as support for the country's agricultural sector, providing leveraging opportunities in the technification of activities, improving efficiency in productivity. Likewise, it shows that the country has great potential for development in the agricultural sector, since the land that is destined for this sector is only 5.5% of the total that is currently used.
