For this reason and with the aim of initiating a work of heritage recovery, it was decided to direct the project towards creative tourism, the option that best suits the needs and preferences of the actors involved. Given the above and in order to know what would be the most appropriate proposal for creative tourism development from the elaboration of handmade paper in the municipality of Barichara the characterization of this process was carried out, a total of 60 surveys were applied with the aim of knowing the profile of the tourist interested in a creative tourist product in that municipality and this was designed taking into account the information provided by respondents. Finally, the research carried out and the results obtained corroborate that the artisanal work has in itself the necessary tourist potential so that around them tourism and cultural conservation projects are developed around them around the world.
