Resumen
This article reflects on the role of the preschool teacher in relation to multisensory teaching and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) from the qualitative paradigm. This study is descriptive-purposeful; To carry it out, a theoretical review was implemented first and, second, the application of the focus group technique with four preschool teachers from three Augustinian schools in Colombia. From this it was concluded that multisensory teaching has focused mainly on attending to children with disabilities in therapeutic contexts in order to favor basic processes of attention, perception and memory. When recognizing the successful results of these processes, the proposal is then put forward to bring multisensory teaching to the regular classroom, in order for the teacher to become a teaching empowerment and propose strategies that prioritize the stimulation of the senses as channels of learning linking ICT.
