Abstract

The following research presents a proposal on the implementation of the TPM and the application of the OEE tool, where it is found that in the company Proyectos y Equipos Metalmecánicos s.a., it does not have an area in charge of maintenance management. Currently they do not have the necessary tools to measure the performance of the different machines that operate day by day, they can be poorly calibrated and operating incorrectly, it was also found that the operators do not have sufficient training for the operation of the machines I manage tools daily. With all this, the main objective is to design an implementation proposal using some of the TPM pillars and the OEE productivity indicator system tool in the company and to improve the performance of the operation, reduce unscheduled stops, breakdowns of the plant and equipment, and something important, improve the efficiency and life cycle of machines, equipment and tools.
