dc.description.abstractThis project develops in three chapters, in the first chapter is observed the variation of the Nominal Exchange Rate (NER) in the period (1992-2017), the second chapter refers to the metric exported tons related to the value of the extractive industries, concurrently there are mentioned the principal destinations of these exports. In the third and last chapter a correlation is done with regard to the first and second chapter, where they find important conclusions that they seek to demonstrate if the theory of Krugman, Obsfeld, and Melitz is fulfilled or not, this theory belongs to that when there is devaluation of the Colombian Peso stimulate the exports of the country.
