Actitudes de docentes sobre la educación con género en colegios del Distrito Capital

Abstract

A través de diversas acciones que pueden ser sexistas o machistas, el sistema educativo replica prácticas de discriminación que aumentan la problemática de la desigualdad de género; estudios relacionados detallan como en una muestra internacional, Colombia reporta el mayor nivel de sexismo, principalmente, por la relación con las actitudes, de este modo, la educación con género es una alternativa. Por consiguiente, se diseña una escala basada en el PETIG que mide la tendencia de actitud de 30 docentes del distrito de Bogotá hacia la educación con género, en donde posterior al análisis factorial con rotación oblicua se concluye que el 66,7% de docentes reporta estar de acuerdo, asimismo, el uso del coeficiente Coeficiente Spearman permitió hallar la relación entre la edad (1) y los años de experiencia (0,64), sin embargo las pruebas de U de Mann-Whitney y chi cuadrado determinaron que no existen diferencias significativas para el sexo, nivel de estudios y asignatura.

Through various actions that may be sexist or sexist, the educational system replicates discriminatory practices that increase the problem of gender inequality; related studies detail how in an international sample, Colombia reports the highest level of sexism, mainly due to the relationship with attitudes, thus, gender education is an alternative. Therefore, a scale based on the PETIG is designed to measure the attitude tendency of 30 teachers of the district of Bogotá towards gender education, where after the factor analysis with oblique rotation it is concluded that 66.7% of teachers report being in agreement, likewise, the use of the Spearman Coefficient coefficient allowed finding the relationship between age (1) and years of experience (0.64), however, the Mann-Whitney U and chi-square tests determined that there are no significant differences for sex, level of studies and subject.
