dc.description.abstract | "The purpose of this qualitative study is to find the linguistic challenges inside and outside the classroom faced by American students who are learning Spanish in a context of immersion in Puebla City, and the similarities and differences between English and Spanish. In order to achieve it, the following research questions were asked: What are American students’ most common problems in productive (writing, reading) and receptive (listening, speaking) language skills when learning Spanish? What are the most common problems of American
students when using Spanish inside the classroom? What are the most common problems of American students when using grammar and speaking Spanish in society? What are the similarities and differences between English and Spanish?" | |
