Educación ambiental y discapacidad: formulación de un proyecto ciudadano en Cali, Colombia 2019

Resumen
Through environmental education it was formulated a civic project of environmental
education (PROCEDA in spanish) at the Andalucia parcellation. With the support of
people with disabilities at the Tapacá farm, a process of creating awareness began in the area of influence. By the use of Participatory Action Research (PAR) a series
of group activities were developed for the recognition of the ecosystem importance that this space has for community. The baseline was elaborated in terms of environmental issues and its relationship and incidence among social actors in the area of study. From the triangulation of the information collected it was possible to expose that the community has broad strengths to improve the environmental conditions in the long run. Finally, the “PROCEDA” document was socialized as a primer in order to be implemented by the inhabitants of the Andalucía Parcellation in favor of promoting community transformation
