Resumen
Once the vicissitudes of the text of the justice reform that had been presented by the Government are made known to the country, by various means, multiple positions are generated on the scope, advantages and disadvantages of what said reform proposed. However, the project advanced in Congress and several debates arose on the legislative initiative that led to the filing of it and the national government to present a very controversial presidential objection brief, which led to the different sectors of the country -legal , academic, governmental- to an interesting discussion on the origin of such objections to constitutional reforms, their procedure and, in general, to a series of constitutional and legal reflections, which are highly relevant for the protection and integrity of the Magna Carta. Likewise, this book takes on special validity at this time, since the Constitutional Court is preparing to review the constitutionality of Law 5 of 1992, which regulates the operation of Congress, in relation to the issue of presidential objections. In that sense, this work is a contribution of the Universidad del Rosario to this matter of special importance and impact for an entire nation that was thrown into a discussion, apparently, without antecedents.
