Prospective Study of Technology in Higher Education in Colombia by 2050

This research has as a theoretical and conceptual axis: technology and higher education in Colombia. The research question was: What will be the main challenges and challenges that higher education in Colombia will have by 2050 due to technological advances? The methodological approach used was a mixed qualitative and quantitative descriptive-type one. The analyzing method was a Delphi expert survey and a workshop with experts. The experts raise the need for new models of management of universities towards a greater professionalizationof university careers that include these new technologies. We can emphasize that information and communication technologies can affect higher education as a whole, but they can also strengthen and facilitate teaching and learning processes to make it more inclusive.
