Resumen
Project presented as a requirement to fulfill language homologation for students of the Tejiendo Interculturalidades program. This document aims to relate the memories of the healing-healing knowledge of the Camëntŝá community in the practice of ancestral doctors, sobanderos and midwives, visible in ancestral medicine, the cultivation of medicinal plants and the arrangements that were made to the fractures suffered by the arduous work of the land and when walking through the mountains, among others. In this way, it is a cross-sectional study that describes the experiences of people recognized in the Camëntŝá community for their role in healing processes - healing. Polyphonic dialogues were generated (Bidaseca, 2010) where the voice of traditional doctors, sobanderas and midwives can be heard first-hand, that is, the voices of the actors can be discerned, when it is their own, looking for the genuine voice of actors; through semi-structured interviews (Bidaseca, 2010). The empirical knowledge that has been the knowledge of the knowledgeable people of the Camëntŝá community in all its cultural survival is valued and that has transcended through time to have an approach to Western medicine as a source of help to the knowledge pre-established by generations of mothers and taitas of the town. Four semi-structured interviews were conducted with three women and one man as a means to dialogue with the medical knowledge of the Camëntŝá community. Two of the women are soberderas and a midwife; the man is the traditional or ancestral doctor of the community. These interviews were conducted in person, in August 2018, upon acceptance of the participants to record audio and take photographs for academic purposes.
