Abstract

This document presents and discusses what are considered to be the main aspects regarding the different integration treaties in force in Latin America and the Caribbean. The first section presents a comparison of economic growth between Latin America and the Caribbean, India and China. A second section discusses in greater detail, in a second section, its own characteristics in a sense of immediate history, about the performance of the main trade agreements in the region, including trade amounts, quality of trade, and export concentration coefficients to the region. US market. Finally, elements of what could be a new modality of regional integration, based on specific projects, are presented.
