Tendencias - ¿moda o necesidad?

Abstract

Presentation at the 2016 International Congress of University Libraries (CIBU) of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. where 26 possible scenarios are proposed based on an evaluation of the implications of current trends, which may have an impact on all types of academic and research libraries in the next 15 years. In this sense, the challenges and roles that libraries and their professionals will have to face in the face of technological and social developments for 2025 are proposed. In which their action must be active as agents builders of change.
