Colombian professional soccer has origins since the 1940s in Colombia, and its history is full of growth, ups and downs, and ambition, which has allowed this sport to become a fundamental part of Colombian society, with successful clubs that have moved masses while some teams with less experience try to make their way among the greats in search of titles and feats. For women's soccer, the process has been very different, since the beginning of this sport in the departmental suburbs in the 70's, the social struggle to reach a professionalization of the sport has been long and inconclusive, but it has achieved through the years the necessary visibility to achieve a professional league in 2017, but this league has had several economic and social drawbacks. What has delayed the growth and stability of this. Taking into account the entire process of the league, it is important to understand that it is necessary to make some reforms to achieve the success of the women's professional league, which is why, from the perspective of the administration, it is essential to evaluate some concepts that could help provide this growth and stability necessary for the league, managing to conceive a profitable league that improves both the international success of our soccer, as well as the working conditions of professional players that allow them a life worthy of a professional player.
