dc.description.abstractThis paper reviews some of the theoretical trends that support the use of the narrative approach in higher education in French-speaking areas. This review is done from a geographical perspective, and therefore some cases from francophone countries are studied. The main objective of the review is to highlight and group some of the main theories supporting the use of the narrative approach in university education and the major problems or theoretical challenges that this approach faces in higher education. This geographic-linguistic area will be studied taking into account the epistemological and the pedagogical aspects
