Resumen
The ways in which the inhabitants of Bogotá began to feel the experiences of urban life from different scenarios, both public and private. This creates tensions between the traditional lifestyle and the arrival of modernity accounting for the transition from the rural life towards the new elements offered by the city. It is important to treat the reconstruction of the city as textuality, where the city shows its complexity and heterogeneity, as it raises guidelines for understanding of urban dynamics. This will allow to check on the importance of literary perspectives when describing a city and its inhabitants. These urban dwellers who travel the city -and the imaginaries that conform the novels-, build a relation from the fragments they live, do and feel giving place to a space in which anything can happen. Thus, the research project offers nuances and views on the role of women in the city, the way they adapt to spaces and how they were seen by José Antonio Osorio Lizarazo. All this considering that the novel is built like a literary milestone, crucial to reflect the problematization of a society
