Resumen
The teaching and learning of research in different professions, with an emphasis on business science programs (Economics and Administration) is the object of analysis by this author. Teaching and learning to research is a fundamental element in their training and implies handling the concepts of the theory of knowledge and techniques, as well as having the foundations of the science in which research is taught. Over time, research becomes a fundamental element in business science programs. In its fifth edition, it presents parameters, to carry out professional research and / or work by students to qualify for the degree, within the framework of the design and execution of a project with rigor, as well as, the use of methodological tools with perspective practice to execute them. The four publications of this book and the reception it has had in different countries of America, is motivation to present to the academic community this new edition with which the content has been complemented, especially in the first chapter that explains with greater emphasis, aspects referred to the construction of knowledge in the organization in the field of business sciences, from the formal structure of science and the construction of theoretical-level propositions with examples that allow the reader to understand them. In addition, it proposes guidelines and examples for applied research and consulting in organizations, as well as for groups to define their lines of work. The positive acceptance of the last four editions indicates that it is a useful guide for researchers, teachers and students. It is used as a reference source, as well as in seminars for students in training programs at the undergraduate, master's and doctoral levels.
