In the context of the world health crisis generated by the SARSCoV2/COVID-19, the remarkable morbimortality and lethality of the disease, as well as the supply of health services and the technologies used, play a decisive role in the outcomes of cases of the disease. Understanding the evolution of COVID-19 in Colombia according to the vulnerability of the population, is important given the differences in the conditions of care for the pandemic in the country. The objective of this study was to analyze the morbidity, lethality, mortality and survival times for COVID-19 according to the vulnerability during the national quarantine in the country, 2020. The information analysis is carried out with all cases with a confirmed diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 infection in Colombia from the index case, until the end of the National quarantine, using databases with public access from the National Institute of Health - INS (download 09-30-2020). This is a retrospective descriptive observational study. The population and sample used are the data of confirmed cases of SARS-Cov-2 infection in Colombia between March 6 and September 30, 2020 from the INS, analyzing epidemiological indicators by department, according to the vulnerability status of the individuals as stated by DANE. With this study, it is expected to estimate whether sociodemographic or vulnerability factors are related to mortality, morbidity, or lethality in the Colombian population according to the departments, thus trying to explain the behavior of the pandemic evidenced so far in Colombia, whose higher burden has been in older populations, lower socioeconomic status and with mayor comorbidities, according to the descriptions given by the regulatory bodies at the national wide.
