dc.description.abstract | Passengers' rights have become more relevant in recent times due to the exponential increase in air transport services' demand and the arrival of low-cost airlines to Colombia. In this context, it is vital to analyze how passengers can exercise their right to file complaints, even more, considering that both the Civil Aeronautics Unit and the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce have powers to process those against airlines. For these reason, this article performs an analysis of the scope of the right to file complaints of air transport passengers before each one of these authorities. With such purpose, this article analyzes the procedure regulations in order to identify their main characteristics and thus, determine the main differences that may impact the complaints of passengers. | |
