Abstract
Science mapping is used for drawing knowledge fronts and foundations. This study presents a set of maps of the research on management in Latin-America and the Caribbean (LAC) for the period (1998-2018). More than 17 000 articles were gathered from the bibliographic database Scopus and interrelated via bibliographic coupling. Network density and nodes’ betweenness were calculated. The research field with the highest betweenness was supply chain management and sustainable-related processes. The following fields/ topics were consumer behavior toward organic agriculture, ecotourism and innovation adoption, multilatinas and smes; cleaner production via corporateacademic alliances; continual improvement strategies for productivity and performance; gender studies focused on executive women career development; and funds management and accounting standards. All archives used for this study are open access.
