2Bite is a venture that will allow the sale of previous owned cell phones at more favorable prices. It will operate from a virtual platform (web and social networks) and a physical store. The competitive advantage will be to offer a personalized service scheme that will advise clients according to their profile and preferences, to determine which is the most suitable phone for them. The initial objectives will be to create a virtual and physical store to present the offer, achieve brand recognition, build a trustworthy supplier base, and create an information base of potential users and clients. To the date of this document, some experiments have already been carried out with favorable results in the sale of used equipment and it is expected that the MVP will be validated shortly. Initially, it will start with the offer of used Apple mobiles, considering the greater perception of the market of its durability and because it is also the equipment that the partners know best. The market for this equipment in Bogotá is about COP 20,647 million (Passport, 2021), of which we expect to reach 5.2% at the end of the 1Q of the third year. The initial investment resources will be COP $3.0MM contributed by the partners and $92MM at the begging of 2 year. It is considered that this project points to a market with high growth potential due to the demand for high-tech equipment at better prices and the growing awareness of a part of the market towards reuse to reduce electronic waste. In the future 2Bite will reach through information technologies other equipment brands and attend other cities.
