Is it possible to define the university publishing culture? I am proud to belong to the staff of the National Autonomous University of Mexico or UNAM, an institution that is the dean of university publishing houses in the country. The UNAM began to carry out publishing processes in the same year of its foundation in 1910. As of this date, its editions have served as a model for the elaboration and design of the academic book in Mexico.
