Abstract

This article is a reflection about some of the psychological and existential tasks that contem-porary time raises us in relation to death. Some general guidelines of existentialism and exis-tential psychology, with a subsequent emphasis on terror management theory, will be initially addressed in this paper. Based on these concep-tions, reflections on being and existence facing the death in the Colombian society nowadays will be considered
