Características comportamentales de la agresión y de la violencia: implicaciones para la prevención

Abstract

Several sequences of violent behavior, along 28 days, with five patterns of characteristicviolent behavior obtained from a 97 participant sample, are analyzed. Five patterns al-lowed classifying the whole sample, although differences are found in the time series ofthe behavior of different subjects belonging to the same pattern. In general, individualsshowed some regularity in violent behavior sequences, with oscillations in behavior se-quences; differences among participants are found in the number of grouped behaviors, inthe number of isolated behaviors, and in the intervals between behaviors. Besides, someimplications for a prevention program to be implemented in a population with differentsequences of violent behavior, are pointed out.
