dc.description.abstractOWASP –SeraphimDroid is an application that provides Android users protection against device privacy and security threats. OWASP - SeraphimDroid was initially developed in order to analyze the Android security architecture loop, it focused on ensuring that the user does not lose money and provide documentation of the permissions of the applications that the device uses, OWASP –SeraphimDroid was born as a Google Summer of Code 2014 project. The scope of this project was aimed at teaching users about which malicious applications require excessive permissions on the operating system
