This document presents the relationship between multiple rationality and organizational decision making, from a theoretical and qualitative approach. For this, the concepts of rationality and decision-making are studied at a general level; presenting both a historical and theoretical framework, and associating it with management and organizational studies. Additionally, a review of the literature about multiple rationality is presented and a proposal about this notion meaning, characterization and logics that could compose it. This is summarized through a taxonomy. Using these previous conceptual developments, through a reflexive analysis, relations between multiple rationality and decision making in organizational context are identified. The focus is made in aspects such as the decision process, type of decision, among others. In conclusion, multiple rationality lets understand from an individual perspective, the existence of multiple logical bases of reasoning that impact and constitute their decisions. Equally, it implies for the organizations both an understanding form and support for the decision-making process, in a complex environment. Finally, future research lines, discussion, recommendations and limitations of the research are presented.
