Labor productivity is a determining factor in the economic development and well-being of organizations, employees, country and society in general. For this reason, the concept of labor productivity has been studied by different disciplines, being the economy the one that has done in greater depth. This research focuses on the manufacturing organizations of Medellín, this being a sector with high importance in the productivity indices of the region. Field work is carried out with leaders and experts with experience in the manufacturing or labor productivity sector. The research was carried out in a period of 1 year, in which a first stage of research and descriptive analysis of the variables included in the productivity was carried out, and subsequently the model was formulated. Through the software of the Godet Micmac toolbox, a structural analysis of 24 variables with an impact on labor productivity is carried out. This analysis results in a labor productivity management model made up of the organizational variables: training plan, work formality and maintenance strategy, framed by the individual leadership variable.
