Evocaciones de Venezuela: apropiación simbólica del hábitat bogotano

Abstract

El siguiente trabajo de investigación surge a partir del interés de promover un reconocimiento a los inmigrantes venezolanos que han llegado a la ciudad de Bogotá. Partiendo de la identificación e indagación en torno a las evocaciones y los nuevos modos de habitar de este grupo poblacional. Para ello se presenta un análisis a nivel histórico de la relación migratoria entre Colombia y Venezuela, cuestión que configura un contexto particular de acuerdo a los rasgos culturales y simbólicos que se comparten. La recolección de información se dio por medio de unos diarios de campo que se entregó a cada uno de los participantes, para lograr un primer acercamiento de la cotidianidad que han creado. El diario de campo se configuró como una herramienta fundamental dado el contexto de pandemia mundial en el medio en el cual se escribió esta investigación. Con este trabajo se pretende aportar el reconocimiento del habitar de los inmigrantes, ya que es importante comenzar a realizar una identificación de estos no solo desde el ámbito económico y demográfico, sino desde sus dinámicas cotidianas y las implicaciones políticas, sociales y culturales. The following research work arises from the interest in promoting recognition of Venezuelan immigrants who have arrived in the city of Bogotá. Starting from the identification and recognition of the evocations of the ways of living and of the new ways of living that this population group presents. For this, a historical analysis of the migratory relationship between Colombia and Venezuela is presented, an issue that configures a particular context according to the cultural and symbolic features that are shared. The information was collected through field diaries that were given to each of the participants, to achieve a first recognition of the daily life that they have created. The field diary was configured as a fundamental tool given the context of the global pandemic in the midst of which I wrote this research. The aim of this work is to provide the recognition of the inhabiting of immigrants, since it is important to begin to identify these not only from the economic and demographic field, but from their daily dynamics and political, social and cultural implications.
