This thesis analyses the relationship between knowledge management and dynamic capabilities, a relationship that is little explored in developing countries. Theoretically, the hypotheses raised in this study are associated with the principles of the Resource-Based Firm's Vision, which indicates that knowledge is a resource that enables the formulation, restructuring and implementation of strategies Competitive. This research formulates relationships between the key dimensions of knowledge management (creation, transfer and use of knowledge) and the key dimensions of dynamic capabilities (monitoring, learning, integration, coordination and reconfiguration), which were tested in an important sample of information and knowledge-intensive organizations in Colombia, using a structural equation model (SEM) in Smartpls3. The results note the positive impact of knowledge management on dynamic capabilities, finding relationships that vary in intensity between the fundamental dimensions-constructs of both variables. Businessly, these results imply that a company's strategic renewal depends on its ability to manage knowledge.
