dc.description.abstract | The switched reluctance motor is a relatively simple electrical machine that is attractive in different applications given its high efficiency characteristics, high torque at low speed, low manufacturing costs, among others. But its structure posses a challenging control problem given its induced periodic torque. That intrinsic ripple torque signifi catly degrades its performance. This work proposes a estrategy of identifi cation and control based on the periodic nature of the movement and the spatial dependence of the variables in this machine. On one hand the identi fication strategy under the algebraic approach is proposed in the spatial-temporal domain, achieving an adequate estimation of the mechanical and electrical parameters in the unsaturated model of the motor. On the other hand, the control strategy takes advantage of the periodic dynamics of the machine and under the aproach of active rejection approach of periodic perturbations in the angular domain high performances are achieved. The proposed strategies are validated by simulation and experimentation in a DSP-based test bed. | |
dc.description.abstract | El motor de reluctancia conmutada es una máquina eléctrica de construcción relativamente sencilla que resulta ser atractiva en distintas aplicaciones dadas sus características de alta eficiencia, alto par a baja velocidad, costos bajos de fabricación, entre otros. Pero su estructura y la conmutación de fases, necesaria para su control, genera un rizo de par que deriva negativamente en el desempeño. Como resultado de este trabajo se propone una estrategia de identi ficación y otra de control, fundamentadas en la naturaleza periódica del movimiento y la dependencia espacial de las variables en esta máquina. La estrategia de identi ficación bajo el enfoque algebraico se propone en el dominio espacio-temporal con lo que se logra la adecuada estimación de los parámetros mecánicos y eléctricos del modelo no saturado del motor. Por su parte, la estrategia de control aprovecha la dinámica periódica de la máquina y a la luz de un enfoque de rechazo activo de perturbaciones periódicas en el espacio angular se logran altos desempeños que son validados por simulación y experimentación en un banco de pruebas basado en un DSP. | |
