| dc.description | A través de la presentación del contexto personal y académico de la autora y su quéhacer dentro de la «crisis ambiental», se intentará guiar al lector por los fundamentos que la han llevado a sostener la necesidad de revisar las concepciones de la «naturaleza» en la memoria cultural de Abya Yala. Luego, se presenta desde la perspectiva de la filosofía intercultural de Raúl Fornet Betancourt la crítica al eurocentrismo como proyecto de civilización moderna, científico-técnica, sobre la creación y reproducción de conocimiento vinculado a la valorización y significación de la naturaleza, considerando que en la actualidad prima la valoración utilitaria sobre la espiritual. La perspectiva hegemonizante del saber presenta limitaciones para la construcción de un saber cultural desde Latinoamérica y sus culturas ancestrales. Por lo que se propone, a través de una discusión teórica, el rescate de las sabidurías memoriales de los pueblos con los aportes de Pailevill Curivil, Mariela Tulián y Margarita Maldonado, autores que, como otros en este sentido libertador e integrador, vienen trabajando en otras concepciones sobre la naturaleza; concepciones que llevan a «pensares» pero sobre todo a «sentires» que motivan hoy y potenciaran aún más el proceso de transformación intercultural | |
| dc.description | Through presentation of the author’s personal and academic context and her professional activities in the «environmental crisis», the reader will be guided by the basic ideas that have led her to sustain the need to revise the conceptions of «nature» in the cultural memory of Abya Yala. The intercultural philosophy of Raúl Fornet Betancourt will then be taken as the basis for a critique of Eurocentrism as a modern, scientific-technical civilization project. The author proposes that the creation and reproduction of knowledge should be linked to the attribution of spiritual value and significance to nature, instead of the utilitarian approach prevailing today. The hegemonizing approach to knowledge presents limitations for the construction of cultural knowledge from Latin America and its ancestral cultures. It is therefore proposed, in a theoretical discussion, to rescue the ancestral wisdom of the indigenous peoples through the contributions of Pailevill Curivil, Mariela Tulián and Margarita Maldonado, authors who – like others in this liberating, integrating sense – have been working on alternative conceptions of nature; conceptions that lead to «thinking», but above all to the «feeling» that today motivates and enhances intercultural transformation | |
