| dc.description | Together with the cervid Pudu puda (Molina) and the microbiotherid Dromiciops gliroides Thomas, Lycalopex fulvipes (Martin), the Darwin's fox, is among the most symbolic animals of the Valdivian temperate forest. Of these three, Lycalopex fulvipes is the only endemic to Chile and the one with the most restricted known geographic distribution. | |
