Introduction: Lymphoma is the name of a group of cancers that affect the lymphatic system and of which there are two types: Hodgkin lymphoma (LH) and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL).About 90% of people diagnosed with lymphoma have the non-Hodgkin type (NHL)The development of Lymphoma is becoming one of the leading causes of death in the world, causing more than 10% of these. Objective: To identify the association between occupational exposure to agrochemicals and the development of lymphoma. Materials and Methods: A systematic literature review was conducted, which summarized the results of published research. Among the selection criteria that were taken into account for review were the inclusion of published full-text articles from 1987 to 2018, in English Spanish, obtained from the Pubmed, EBSChost and Scielo databases. The independent variables taken into account in the review were sociodemographic (sex and age),occupational (trade use of chemicals, exposure time) and risk factors. The dependent variable included was the development of lymphoma. Articles included in the systematic review, twenty-five (25) original articles. Results: Among the reported risk factors for the development of NHL the found the fact that they didn't change clothes after the workday (OR: 1.51, IC: 95% 1.00-2.29) and secondly the storage of pesticides close to farmers' homes (OR: 3.60, IC: 95% 1.77-7.31). It was determined for agricultural workers who were exposed for more than 10 years an increase in the risk of all haematopoietic cancers (OR: 2.18, IC 95%: 1.43-3.35 y OR:1. 65, IC 95%: 1.08-2.51). Conclusions: Time in the occupation of agricultural workers is a determining risk factor for the development of lymphoma. Studies showed that farmers who had habits such as smoking for 40 years or more, body mass index ≥ 30 kg and those who did not engage in physical activity in their spare time, had a higher prevalence of developing lymphoma.
