dc.description.abstract | The aim of this paper is to determine the fundamentals and basic characteristics of the 4IR field and its main implications for organizations and contemporary society. Making a systematic review of 681 documents indexed in Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) databases, this article provides an overview of scientific production in this regard. The results show that this field is in full development, particularly between 2016 and 2019, has an important technical bias, poses profound consequences for contemporary society and leaves aside essential aspects that the social sciences can address. | |
