The sources of data included a range of educational research focussed on this issue, which were taken as primary source of analysis. From the analysis of these studies, it can be suggested that the use of collaborative learning has the potential to be a successful strategy to enhance students’ oral production. Across the studies, it was apparent collaborative learning meant that students demonstrated lessen levels of anxiety, were more engaged in the learning activities and the strategy fostered a welcoming environment to those less participative students
