dc.description.abstractThis article talks about the science undergoes changes of library science in regard to supporting the criminal investigation. After a brief look at other sciences that eventually form the character of forensics, such as photography, mechanics and chemistry, there is the contribution that the Library Science provides the forensic investigation of crimes and anticipate others. Cited diverse literature confirming the status of science and how certain legal frameworks, such as the "USA Patriot Act", marked a milestone in this new edge of the criminal investigation.
