This work proposes an approach to fuctional harmony learning, through the design and implementation of a didactic proposal which integrates in its learning content, musical and extra-musical elements. This elements arise, on the one hand, from the inquiry about historical aspects around harmony and its conception in this work as “complex interactive
system”. On the other hand, pedagogical perspective is based on the search of student´s integral understanding, propitiating this the development of conceptual and procedural aspects.
