El Machete : prensa obrera y comunismo en México

Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo es presentar una trayectoria del periódico El Machete –publicado durante las décadas de 1920 y 1930–, insertarla en la historia política y cultural de los primeros años del Partido Comunista Mexicano (PCM) y analizar la relación de los comunistas con el contexto social de México después del periodo armado de la Revolución Mexicana. Abstract: The aim of this article is to present a history of the newspaper El Machete published during the 1920s and 1930s, contextualizing it in the political and cultural history of the early years of the Mexican Communist Party, PCM, and the role of the Communists in the social context of Mexico after the armed period of the Mexican Revolution.
