Resumen
The growth of corvina, Cynoscion parvipinnis, was studied under laboratory conditions. The effect on growth of a diet based only on rotifers, Brachionus plicatilis, was compared with one made of rotifers and copepods. For the first eight days of exogen alimentation the. mixed diet was the better, producing a lineal growth rate (5.0 mm LP vs 4.2 mm LN). From day 11 through day 30, we made comparisons between an Artemia salina nauplii diet, versus a natural zooplankton diet, in which the mayor species was Mysidopsis californica. The misidaceans diet was the better, producing an exponential growth rate (19.0 mm LP vs. 14.05 mm LP).
